Yes, you can sort by modification date, by creation date, or alphabetically. In the web app, go to your account settings by hovering over your email address. On iPhone and iPad, go to the Settings page and change the Sort By setting. You might have to tap the Back button first in order to return to the main list view before you see the Settings button.
