Stop sharing and/or see who is sharing a note with me

Chris Ruebeck Jan 20, 2012 09:08AM PST

A shared note has the "transmit" icon next to it, and it goes blue when someone has made changes. Nice! I'd like to see more about this shared note and do more with it, though.

Can I see who the note is shared with? In two cases: when I shared it with someone or when they shared it with me.

How do I stop sharing? In general, it just seems that control of sharing is puzzling. I'd expect all the shares to be in a place I can get to, like the tags are.

Thanks, it's a wonderful piece of software!

We'll be making improvements to this in the future, but at the moment you can't see who shared a note with you. As for who you shared with, the tags field should reflect who you have sent the share email to. If you remove all emails from the note you shared, it should stop sharing (and the transmit icon should disappear). Alternatively, deleting a note will also stop sharing it (you can restore the note from the trash, but it won't be shared anymore).
