Sync Collaboratively with Another Simplenote User??

Luke Feb 12, 2012 11:01AM PST

I created a note and was able to easily set it up to be shared with my wife. Any updates that I make show up on the web and her phone within seconds.

The question that I have is whether or not it is possible for her to edit a note that I created and am sharing with her and have her changes sync back to my phone. This way we can collaborate on lists and the entire list does not need to be created by one user.

I noticed that I could edit the note on her phone but it would not sync back to me. Also, if I edited the note on my phone after she had made a change on her phone, my update would overwrite anything that she had entered.

Any insight as to whether this is possible to do or not would be great!

Collaboration is possible and encouraged, and it should work in the way you described: changes made in either place should update correctly in both places without overwriting anything.

Please get in touch if you experience otherwise: support@simplenoteapp.com

We'll be making improvements to the way this works in the near future.
